The Orioles scored one run tonight.
Miguel Tejada collected three hits and scored the one run.
This offense continues to give me a rash, but at least the Orioles get CC Sabathia tomorrow.
Where’s the ointment?
Manager Dave Trembley, taking questions from the MASN booth, said he didn’t remove Tejada because of an injury. Tejada’s head slammed into Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli as he dived into home plate, but Trembley used a blowout loss as an opportunity to rest his veteran third…The Orioles scored one run tonight.

Down on the farm, where I’d rather focus, Triple-A Norfolk left-hander Troy Patton allowed five runs and five hits in six innings in a 5-3 loss to Rochester.
Maybe that’s not the best place to focus.
Nolan Reimold started in left field and went 0-for-3 with a walk and run. He’s batting .140.
Double-A Bowie’s Tyler Henson doubled, homered and drove in three runs, as the Baysox took an 8-4 lead into the ninth inning against Binghamton.
Chorye Spoone allowed three runs and two hits in six innings. He served up two home runs.
Single-A Frederick third baseman Billy Rowell went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 3-2 win over Myrtle Beach. Rick Zagone didn’t get the decision after permitting two runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings.
Single-A Delmarva’s Thomas Baxter hit his fourth home run tonight in an 8-3 win over Greensboro. Steven Bumbry went 3-for-5 with an RBI and is batting .281.
Kieron Pope went 2-for-4 with a walk,
