The Orioles just announced that David and John Stockstill are changing roles.
As a result of the moves, which will be effective on April 5, David has been named director of international operations and John has been designated the director of player development.
David will be in charge of the scouting in the Far East, Latin America and beyond. He’ll also oversee player development in the Dominican Republic.
“Both David and John are valued members of our staff, and we feel this change…The Orioles just announced that David and John Stockstill are changing roles.

“Both David and John are valued members of our staff, and we feel this change strengthens our overall operations,” president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail said in a statement. “David and John’s new roles are a good fit geographically and are a reflection of their interests, skills and experience.”
