Michael Gonzalez is supposed to start tonight’s game at Triple-A Norfolk, but rain has delayed the first pitch.
Brian Roberts is supposed to play second base and bat leadoff for Double-A Bowie, but rain has delayed the first pitch.
Update: They finally got started at Bowie. Eddie Gamboa gave up a solo home run in the top of the first to give Binghamton a 1-0 lead, but Roberts doubled and later scored on Tyler Henson’s single. Check Steve Melewski’s blog on MASNsports.com for updates.

The Orioles finally got started tonight after a 28-minute delay, and Chris Tillman escaped a jam in the first after Evan Longoria singled with two outs and Carlos Pena walked. Tillman threw 17 pitches in the inning.
Update II: Ben Zobrist’s two-out double in the second scored John Jaso and gave Tampa Bay a 1-0 lead after Tillman struck out Jason Bartlett and Sean Rodriguez.
Fourth-round pick Trent Mummey hit his third home run tonight for short-season Single-A Aberdeen. Mummey is batting .307 with 13 RBIs.
