This weekend is packed with promos and player appearances scattered from the Yard to the Harbor to Hunt Valley and more.

Promos at Oriole Park
Friday, June 26 – O’s vs. Nats – Fireworks Night at Camden Yards features a free fireworks display for all fans following the game.
All students with a valid ID can also purchase $6 left field upper reserve tickets in honor of Student Night presented each week by AT&T.
Saturday, June 27 – O’s vs. Nats – The first 10,000 fans (15 and older) to arrive at Oriole Park on Saturday night will receive a Replica Nick Markakis Baltimore Batting Practice Jersey.
Following the game, all fans are welcome to stick around The Yard to watch one of the best baseball movies of all time, as this American Classics Movie Night will feature “Field of Dreams” on the center field video board at the ballpark postgame.
O’s in the Community
In the midst of a standout fill-in job for the O’s regular shortstop Cesar Izturis, Robert Andino will also be making an appearance in Glen Burnie, Md. on Saturday, June 27. Andino will be at the Chick-fil-A inside Marley Station Mall, greeting fans and signing autographs from 11 a.m. to noon.
Also on Saturday, June 27, O’s All-Star closer George Sherrill will be at the Brandon Furniture store in Hunt Valley, Md. where he’ll sign autographs and pose for photos with fans from noon to 1 p.m. before the take on the Nats at Camden Yards at 7 p.m.
Battle of the Birds
Just as a reminder, the Oriole Bird and the Washington Nationals’ eagle, Screech, will square off in a series of events at the ESPN Zone in the Inner Harbor Friday afternoon before the teams battle it out on the field at Camden Yards. Catch the competition starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
Have fun if you have a chance to head out to any or all of the fun promos or O’s appearances taking place this weekend. Then, when you have to head back to work on Monday, tell us how they went using the comment box below.
