The Orioles will try to notch their first second-half win tonight against Tampa Bay right-hander Wade Davis.
Davis is 6-9 with a 4.69 ERA. Not too intimidating.
Davis has allowed two earned runs in three of his last four starts, and is 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA in two career starts against the Orioles.
Not too promising.
The Orioles have totaled one run against Davis in 16 innings. He owns a complete-game shutout against them.

The players on the active roster are a combined 2-for-15 against him. Felix Pie (double) and Ty Wigginton account for the hits.
Davis has posted a 4.22 ERA in 10 home starts, and a 5.50 ERA in seven road starts.
Chris Tillman is coming off that gem in Texas, when he took a no-hitter into the seventh inning in his first start after being recalled from Triple-A Norfolk.
Tillman is 0-1 with a 2.84 ERA in two career starts against the Rays. He’s given up four runs, all of them on bases-empty homers, in 12 2/3 innings.
Reminder: Brian Roberts is playing tonight at Double-A Bowie. His rehab assignment will run through the week unless the Orioles change their plans. And left-hander Michael Gonzalez is scheduled to pitch at Norfolk.
Let me know if you’re able to catch a few innings of all three games. I’ll need proof – perhaps photocopies of your speeding tickets.
