RHP Jeremy Guthrie (7-12, 5.43) today makes his 24th start of this season, his 13th at home and the 5th of his career vs. the Angels.
Guthrie has lost four straight decisions. He is 0-4, 6.75 over those last four starts.
Guthrie has been hurt by the long ball this year, allowing an AL-high 27 homers. He has given up at least one homer in 17 starts and eight times has allowed at least two homers in a game.

RHP Sean O’Sullivan (3-1, 5.12) today makes his 8th Major League start of the season, his 5th on the road and the 2nd of his career vs. the Orioles.
O’Sullivan is 0-1, 9.31 over his last two starts. On the season, he has allowed 44 hits, including seven homers, in 38 2/3 innings.
Right-handed batters hit .346 against him while lefties bat .239. The Angels are 6-1 when he starts this year.
The 21-year-old has two quality starts among his seven so far and, in four road starts, is 3-1, 3.47.
He pitched a no-hitter for Triple-A Salt Lake vs. Sacramento on July 28th. In 12 Triple-A starts this year, he went 6-3, 5.66.
He has one career start vs. the Orioles and did not get a decision on July 4th at Los Angeles. Over 5 2/3 innings, he gave up nine hits and four runs, throwing 94 pitches.
