Sabathia is tied for first in the AL in wins, is 2nd in innings and 7th in ERA and strikeouts.

Sabathia has not lost since July 28th vs. Tampa. Over his last eight starts since, he is 6-0, 2.31. In 11 second-half starts, he is 8-1, 2.65.

The Yankees are 19-11 when Sabathia starts, winning the last eight games in a row.

In 13 home starts, the lefty is 5-2, 3.36.

The 2007 Cy Young winner, Sabathia signed as a free agent in December. He received a seven-year, 161 million dollar deal, the richest contract ever awarded to a pitcher.
