Besides Jeremy Guthrie and Rick VandenHurk, the Orioles brought along Armando Gabino, Wynn Pelzer, Adrian Rosario, Nick Bierbrodt, Alberto Castillo, Chris Jakubauskas and Mark Worrell.
Looking ahead, the Orioles will send Chris Tillman, Jason Berken, Josh Rupe and Chorye Spoone to Fort Myers tomorrow to face the Red Sox in a split-squad game. Boston will counter with John Lackey, Dan Wheeler, Randy Williams and Kyle Weiland.
Left-hander Zach Britton will start against the Yankees in Sarasota (yes, the game is airing on MASN), followed by Kevin Gregg, Jeremy Accardo, David Riske and Clay Rapada. Sergio Mitre, Adam Warren, D.J. Mitchell, Andy Sisco and Ryan Pope will pitch for the Yankees.
Brian Matusz and Justin Duchscherer are expected to make the trip to Clearwater on Tuesday to face the Phillies, who will send out Cole Hamels, Jose Contrerras, former Oriole Danys Baez, Brad Lidge, Antonio Bastardo, Andrew Carpenter and Dan Meyer.
