We’re not quite ready for the second half of the season to begin, but here’s how the rotation unfolds when the Orioles get back on the field at Camden Yards:
Brad Bergesen
Jeremy Guthrie
Brian Matusz
Chris Tillman
Jake Arrieta
Bergesen has come full circle. His first start of 2010 came against the Blue Jays on April 9 at Camden Yards.
Let the circle be broken.
Bergesen allowed five runs and eight hits in 4 2/3 innings, though he didn’t get the decision in a 7-6 loss.

Alex Gonzalez homered off Bergesen. Jose Bautista went 2-for-3 with a double. John Buck doubled twice and drove in two runs. Adam Lind was 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Vernon Wells is 4-for-9 lifetime against Bergesen.
The last time Bergesen pitched, I filled in for Rick Dempsey on O’s Xtra and the Orioles lost, 4-2, to the Tigers. They went to Arlington and swept the Rangers in a four-game series.
Bergesen isn’t part of the streak, but he’ll try to keep it alive while working on eight days rest.
We’ll assume that he’s thrown a few times on the side.
B-Rob update: He isn’t in the starting lineup today for the GCL Orioles.
