NEW YORK – It looks like we’ll have baseball tonight. Really, really cold baseball, but we’ll have it.
The Yankees aren’t going to be quick with another postponement. The teams will stay here all night if necessary.

The Yankees aren’t going to be quick with another postponement. The teams will stay here all night if necessary.
Cuban outfielder Henry Urrutia served as the designated hitter today at extended spring training and will do it again on Saturday. He will take off Sunday and play right field Monday and Tuesday.
Urrutia turned in the final paperwork necessary for him to join an affiliate, but he’s been bothered by a strained hamstring. He should be ready soon to play in real games, with Double-A Bowie a strong possibility.
“He’s going to be going out shortly,” said manager Buck Showalter.
Steve Johnson and Tsuyoshi Wada are still scheduled to pitch Saturday at extended spring training.
Zach Britton, who exited his last start for Triple-A Norfolk after two innings because of a blister on his left thumb, will start on Saturday.
Showalter said part of Alex Burnett’s appeal is the right-hander has minor league options, “which keeps our depth in the picking pool down there.”
Burnett will join Norfolk’s bullpen after being claimed off waivers today from the Toronto Blue Jays.
“Dan (Duquette) texted me this morning,” Showalter said. “He sent me all the work they’ve done on him and what the thought was. We had room on the roster. We’ve still got room. It was 40, but we’ve got room. And he was well thought of at one time.”
The Blue Jays claimed Burnett off waivers from the Twins in March, but they designated him for assignment earlier this week to make room for outfielder Casper Wells (Towson University).
Dylan Bundy began his throwing program yesterday.
