SARASOTA, Fla. – Outfielder Henry Urrutia didn’t work out today because of a stomach illness.
Urrutia was late getting on the field, missing the pre-workout stretch. First base coach Wayne Kirby retrieved him from the clubhouse as the outfielders played catch.
Urrutia stood on the field for a few minutes before talking to head athletic trainer Richie Bancells and going inside. Kirby passed along an update to manager Buck Showalter.

Suk-min Yoon threw on flat ground and participated in fielding drills, but he won’t throw a bullpen session until Thursday at noon. The Orioles wanted to give him one more day to get acclimated.
Yoon’s interpreter, Justin Yoo, arrives in camp later tonight. Yoo will replace Yoon’s agent, Tad Hun Yo, who’s been following his client from field to field.
As Yo pointed out, it’s a nice progression – Yo, Yoo and Yoon.
Miguel Gonzalez threw 25 pitches on the mound with the strings across home plate and said his back felt fine. Kelvin De La Cruz (hamstring) also threw without any issues.
Here are videos and pictures from today’s workout.
