Well, phase one of the Maryland Stadium Authority’s deferred maintenance program is finished, and all the concrete and seats between the foul poles on the lower level have been replaced.

The new seats have high backs and cup holders, and seats between the bases are cushioned.
The other change connected to the maintenance plan involved numbering of the seats throughout the ballpark. All rows in the ballpark swapped their letters for numbers to make it easier to determine how many rows from the field or the front of the club and upper levels you’re sitting.
In addition to the maintenance in the seating bowl, the O’s made some changes on the Club Level as well, by adding a display case on this level behind home plate (where the concierge desk used to be). The case will proudly exhibit the history and past successes of the franchise, including the Orioles World Series and ALCS trophies, several Gold Glove awards, and other club artifacts for fans to browse when they enter the Club Level area.
Also check back for more on a few concessions changes you might be interested in come Opening Day at Oriole Park…
