Welcome to a big week in Birdland, as the O’s officially report to spring training this week (as if I needed to tell you!). From here, the 2010 season will begin and continue to take shape, and we’ll see what the Birds’ flock of young O’s are capable of soon enough.
But for now, welcome back to the Orioles Buzz, where we have another photo from Camden Yards ready for you to identify for this week’s ‘Where in the Yard?’

Just in case you’re joining us for the first time, simply take a look at the photo below and take a guess at what we’re looking at and where it’s located in or around Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
But whether this is your first guess or you’ve been with us for every round, be specific this week and Good Luck!

Update: Lauren, Tim Morris, Bob St, Dale Russell, Jason from York, Jeremy from Cumberland, Bryan, Jeff, Brant (O’s fan), Dom, Roscoe, Pete (O’s fan in NJ), Amy, Glassman, Morgan R, and Jeff in York all have it already.
Two of you, bedman (you’re half right) and Lorenzo (be a little more specific) have it half right.
Add Heathir, Avi M., DB, Ryan S., TC, Pat Rochowiak, John W., Jason Dietz, Mike!, Corey, Zevi L, Steve Trust, Allan, Travis, and Woelps to the list as well.
Great job O’s Fans!
Answer: As most of you were able to guess, this week’s ‘Where in the Yard?’ took you back to the plaza that started it all (remember Babe Ruth’s glove, which kicked off the very first ‘Where in the Yard?’). This week, you were looking at another statue, this time honoring Jim Palmer’s retired jersey number, 22.
Nice work O’s fans. Enjoy the first week of spring training and the start of the 2010 season!
