If you were looking forward to replica Brooks Robinson jersey night at Camden Yards back on July 17, you know your excitement had to be put on hold for a little while, as a vendor error delayed that giveaway indefinitely.

But if you had tickets to that night’s game you also know that the O’s didn’t sent you home empty handed. Instead, they made up for the vendor’s mistake by offering Brooks Robinson jersey T-shirts on top of vouchers for the replica jerseys promised on the promotions schedule.
So really, you made out double time – but now, some of you are wondering what the status is with your delayed replica Brooks Robinson jersey already?
Orioles director of communications Greg Bader told me the O’s are expecting to receive the jerseys in early September and will make an announcement to alert fans who received a voucher for a jersey on July 17 that their giveaways are available for pickup.
As a reminder, fans can redeem their vouchers at Camden Yards or by mail, and Bader also noted that the Orioles will be covering all shipping costs. The team will not be responsible, however, for items lost in the mail.
So hold on to your vouchers just a little bit longer, and stay tuned for an announcement from the team (and here in the Orioles Buzz) when the jerseys have arrived.
