Wolfram recalled, Orioles and Marlins lineups

The Orioles tweaked their bullpen again this morning, recalling left-hander Grant Wolfram from Triple-A Norfolk and designating right-hander Corbin Martin for assignment.

The 40-man roster remains full.

Wolfram tossed two scoreless innings as the 27th man in Thursday’s doubleheader and earned his first major league win. He joins Gregory Soto as lefties in the ‘pen.

Soto only threw five pitches yesterday while letting an inherited runner score, but he also was used in Game 2 of the doubleheader.

The Orioles are 43-51 with one game remaining before the All-Star break. Yesterday’s loss left them 6 ½ back for the last Wild Card, with seven teams still ahead of them.

Ramón Urías is playing third base and Alex Jackson is catching. All-Star Ryan O’Hearn is at first base.

Coby Mayo is on the bench again. He’s started twice in the past 11 games.

Jordan Westburg is the designated hitter.

Rookie Brandon Young makes his sixth major league start after holding the Mets to two runs in 5 1/3 innings Tuesday night. He walked none and struck out six.

Marlins right-hander Eury Pérez has registered a 4.00 ERA and 1.037 WHIP in six starts since returning from reconstructive elbow surgery. He’s allowed one run and three hits with one walk and 15 strikeouts this month in 11 innings.

Pérez has made 25 major league starts, none against the Orioles. Ramón Laureano has the only at-bats, going 1-for-2.
