The Orioles haven’t announced the move, most likely waiting until after batting practice. Meanwhile, Showalter indicated that he’d address Chris Tillman’s situation following tonight’s game.
Feel free to connect the dots.
Showalter said the bullpen wasn’t an option for Tillman this weekend.
The Game 1 starter for Saturday’s doubleheader will be revealed after tonight’s game and Mike Wright Jr. remains a candidate as long as he’s not needed in relief tonight.
The Orioles could add four players by the end of Game 2, including a 26th man for the doubleheader.
Pedro Ãlvarez remains day-to-day with tightness in his right hamstring. Showalter won’t announce his availability tonight.
