The Orioles signed Yoon to a three-year, $5,575,000 deal in February. He receives salaries of $750,000 this year, $1.75 million in 2015 and $2.4 million in 2016. The contract also included a $675,000 signing bonus.
Under terms of his contract, he can’t be optioned the next two seasons without his consent.
Steve Johnson, recovered from right shoulder tendinitis, has been activated from the DL and is starting tonight for Norfolk. He’s currently on a 45-50 pitch limit.
The Orioles also placed pitcher Kelvin De La Cruz on the Triple-A disabled list with a left forearm strain. The move also is retroactive to Monday.
