It’s about that time. A time when I ask the readers here a few Orioles questions and get your input. Answer one question or all of them. Provide short answers or long ones. Respond to what other readers have to say.
It’s not a quiz and won’t be graded.
There are no right or wrong answers.
If you cannot participate today there will be other chances before Opening Day for similar blogs here.
Now, today’s questions.
1) In years and dollars, predict the free agent deals that pitcher Corbin Burnes and outfielder Anthony Santander will get. Do they get those deals from the Orioles or somewhere else?
2) Who will start on the mound on Opening Day 2025 for the Birds?
3) How many games does Jackson Holliday play next season? Will he be on the Opening Day roster?
4) The Orioles hold 2025 team options on several players. Rank them from most to least likely to have their options picked up by the team. They are Danny Coulombe, Seranthony Domínguez, Ryan O’Hearn and Cionel Pérez.
5) Catcher James McCann is a free agent. Should the Orioles bring him back as their backup catcher?
6) Adley Rutschman struggled on offense late in the year. Was this due to an injury or was something else at work? Next season will Rutschman produce more like the player that posted an .809 OPS in 2023 or the one that was at .709 last year?
