The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated right-hander Alfredo Simon from the Restricted List. To make room for him on the 40-man roster, infielder Cesar Izturis has been transferred to the 60-day disabled list. This is going to sound strange after the last three games, but I'm going to say it anyway. I like this team. Sure, the Orioles have their flaws. Yes, I would probably have slightly different personnel on the roster if I were the general manager, but all in all, I like this team. Here are a few reasons why: I like the homegrown rotation. Maybe the most frustrating thing about the last two games is that the Orioles' starters gave up just one run - it was unearned - and they wasted those efforts by losing both games. Orioles starters have now pitched to an ERA of just 1.29 over the last eight games, but the Orioles have lost three of those eight.
