Ralph Warner, 11, loves baseball. It’s obvious from the way he talks about Major League Baseball players he idolizes, his favorite team – the New York Mets, and his youth baseball team.

Warner recently traveled to Maryland from his home in Midland Park, N.J., to compete in the Cal Ripken Experience Turn Two Tournament. He was on the mound in a championship bracket game when he was struck by a line drive.
He was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital and put in the intensive care unit with a fractured skull and hemorrhaging in the brain.
However, Warner has made a speedy recovery and was released from the hospital on Wednesday morning.
While he has to take at least three months off from playing baseball, Warner says he still plans to travel with his team and help with stats and scoring.
MASN couldn’t let him leave Maryland without some signed gear from top players, including Adam Jones, and hopes to see him back on the mound again soon!
