Rolle, an 11-year NFL veteran, has spent the last four seasons with the Ravens and had been released on March 17. During his time in Baltimore, Rolle has played in 48 games (47 starts), collecting 145 tackles, 45 passes defensed, eight interceptions, two forced fumbles and a sack. He also earned the 2007 Ed Block Courage Award, selected by his teammates, after being diagnosed with epilepsy and returning to play in six games that year. For his career, Rolle has 454 tackles, including 379 solo, 138 passes defensed, 31 interceptions (returned for 426 yards), 9.5 sacks, eight fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.

Bouman, an 10-year product from St. Could State (Minn.), spent the entire 2008 season with the Ravens in a backup quarterback role and has been a mentor for Joe Flacco. Todd has played in 42-career games, starting six. In those games, Bouman has completed 129 of 230 passes for 1,683 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also has carried the ball 21 times for 86 yards, averaging 4.1 yards per carry.

“There was no question that we were hoping to bring Todd back all along,” stated Harbaugh. “He is a veteran player who brings leadership and experience to our team, and he also does a great job of helping mentor our two young quarterbacks.”
