He stole Jeremy Accardo’s move.

The first batter today, Mike Aviles, hit a line drive that almost decapitated second baseman Robert Andino, who gloved the ball before it passed through him.
Brayan Pena flied to left field for the second out, and Chris Getz lined to first baseman Luke Scott.
Three balls hit hard, three balls that resulted in outs.
Three balls that didn’t injure any of Accardo’s fielders.
Let’s hear it for quick reflexes. And for bases that aren’t littered.
Update: The Orioles loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the 11th, which included Nolan Reimold’s ground rule double, but they couldn’t score. Luke Scott bounced into a force at home, with Mark Reynolds unable to beat the throw, and pinch-hitter Matt Wieters grounded into a 6-4-3 double play.
Wieters is catching. So much for a day off.
