So, it appears that Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is being skewered by the New York media for trying to score from the dugout.
According to a New York Post article, Rodriguez flirted with two young women sitting in the stands after he was removed for a pinch hitter in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. The Yankees were losing 4-0.

Somebody needs to tell A-Rod that the Yankees aren’t paying him all that money to collect singles.
(See what I did there?)
Meanwhile, in a completely unrelated story, Orioles pitching prospect Mike Wright is finding the Arizona Fall League to be a cruel mistress. Or something like that.
Wright has made two starts for the Mesa Solar Sox, allowing seven runs (six earned) and 11 hits in four innings. He did toss a scoreless second inning today against Peoria, also making the AFL a fickle mistress, before surrendering a run and four hits in the third.
In his debut, Wright allowed four runs (three earned) and four hits in one inning. He was charged with three runs and seven hits in three innings this afternoon before being replaced by Mike Belfiore, acquired by the Orioles from the Diamondbacks for third baseman Josh Bell.
Jonathan Schoop is starting at shortstop today for the Solar Sox. LJ Hoes joined the team yesterday.
Wright, a third-round pick in the 2011 First-Year Player Draft out of East Carolina, was a combined 10-5 with a 4.06 ERA in 20 starts between Single-A Frederick and Double-A Bowie. Manager Buck Showalter, keeping close tabs on Wright, has mentioned him multiple times this season, and always in a positive way.
You may recall that Wright joined the Orioles from minor league camp this spring and made a relief appearance against the Yankees in a March 18 exhibition game that aired on MASN. Alfredo Simon started that night and left with a groin injury.
