Each season, OriolesREACH hosts thousands of underprivileged youth as part of the Gameday Experience Program.
Groups of kids who likely wouldn’t get to take in a game at Camden Yards on their own are brought to the ballpark and treated to a game of O’s baseball and some fun giveaways–and the best part is that these kids are able to come here and participate thanks to a group of the O’s themselves.

Groups of kids who likely wouldn’t get to take in a game at Camden Yards on their own are brought to the ballpark and treated to a game of O’s baseball and some fun giveaways–and the best part is that these kids are able to come here and participate thanks to a group of the O’s themselves.
Players like Adam Jones, Melvin Mora, Danys Baez, and Gregg Zaun sponsor the program that brings young kids to the ballpark to see a big league baseball game at Oriole Park. In addition to their tickets, kids also receive concessions vouchers, an Orioles T-shirt and hat, and transportation to and from the game.
Over the next three games of the O’s series against the Red Sox at home this week, the following groups will be cheering for the Birds courtesy of three of your favorites Orioles:
Monday, June 29: Faith Tabernacle Church, 150 kids (Gregg Zaun)
Tuesday, June 30: Youth from 45th Legislative District, 150 kids (Melvin Mora)
Wednesday, July 1: James Mosher Baseball, 150 kids (Adam Jones)
So if you see a big group of kids at the ballpark, remember how Zaun, Mora, and Jones might have helped bring them there. If you’d like to make a donation to OriolesREACH, you can give to the Shannon’s Fund by clicking here or by mailing a check to the Orioles Charitable Foundation:
