Since officially opening its doors on April 6, 1992, Oriole Park at Camden Yards has been one of the leading catalysts for year-round tourism in Baltimore and Maryland. The ballpark has welcomed more than 72 million people to downtown Baltimore and has generated more than $10 billion in economic impact back into the City of Baltimore and State of Maryland. In recent years, Oriole Park has evolved into a premier entertainment venue, welcoming music lovers of all genres to various concerts and events at the ballpark.
Next month, the Orioles will host the second-ever major concert at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Sunday, June 12, when PAUL MCCARTNEY performs as part of his 2022 “Get Back” tour. It will mark McCartney’s first performance in Baltimore in nearly 60 years. Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and music legend BILLY JOEL performed the first-ever concert at Oriole Park, an event that brought more than 40,000 visitors to downtown Baltimore.
As part of the Orioles’ commitment to empowering our youth and strengthening our community, fans will have the opportunity to share their love of music by making a monetary donation to benefit Arts for Learning Maryland at Orioles.com/Music. Arts for Learning Maryland is a nonprofit organization devoted to enriching the lives and education of Maryland’s youth through educational and culturally diverse arts programs.
