After spending most of the first 2 ½ months of that season as the club’s bullpen and interim bench coach, Trembley was named interim manager on June 18, 2007, replacing Sam Perlozzo.
The interim tag was removed and Trembley became the 17th manager in Orioles history on August 22, 2007.
