Josh Bell went 3-for-4 with his second home run in two games in Triple-A Norfolk’s 8-7 loss to Louisville. He also drove in three runs while raising his average to .274.

Update: Cesar Izturis underwent surgery today in Baltimore to move the ulnar nerve in his right elbow. Andy MacPhail, president of baseball operations, said Izturis made it through the procedure successfully. The Orioles are hopeful that Izturis will return to the 25-man roster later this summer.
