Matt Harvey has made four career starts against the Yankees and registered a 1.63 ERA and 0.723 WHIP in 27 2/3 innings. He’s allowed only five runs and 15 hits, with five walks and 26 strikeouts.

His last start against the Yankees came on April 22, 2019 with the Angels, when he surrendered two runs and three hits in six innings. Luke Voit hit a solo home run.

Right-hander Deivi García is making his 2021 debut after posting a 4.98 ERA and 1.194 WHIP last summer in six starts covering 34 1/3 innings. He walked only six batters.

García had a 3.20 ERA and 1.017 WHIP in three starts at Yankee Stadium and a 7.36 ERA and 1.432 WHIP in three starts on the road. He faced the Orioles at Camden Yards in the second game of a Sept. 4 doubleheader and allowed four runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Mountcastle hit a two-run homer.

The Yankees won two of three games against the Orioles in April, outscoring them 14-2 in the first two and losing 4-3 in 11 innings.

Orioles pitchers have allowed a home run in all 10 games at Camden Yards this season. Their 19 homers at home are the most in the American League.
