Tyler Nevin is playing first base and Jahmai Jones is the second baseman.

Left-hander Keegan Akin makes his first start and second appearance of the spring, with his debut also coming against the Blue Jays. Akin followed Matt Harvey in Dunedin, allowed a run during a 33-pitch third inning and retired the side in order on 10 pitches in the fourth.

The Jays are starting right-hander Ross Stripling, acquired from the Dodgers on Aug. 31, 2020. He’s projected to begin the season in Toronto’s rotation while Nate Pearson recovers from a strained groin muscle.
