Orioles manager Dave Trembley couldn’t confirm the Julio Lugo trade, so we’ll continue to wait for the commissioner’s office to make it official.
Isn’t this fun?
“I’m sure if something like that happens, I’ll be informed, but I haven’t been informed about it yet,” Trembley said.
Robert Andino, who committed two more errors yesterday and has looked bad tracking popups at second base this spring, remains in the starting lineup and is taking batting practice.

Robert Andino, who committed two more errors yesterday and has looked bad tracking popups at second base this spring, remains in the starting lineup and is taking batting practice.
“I don’t think it’s about Andino,” Trembley said. “What you’re looking for obviously is you’re looking to put the best nine guys out there each and every day. That’s what it’s always about.
“I think that’s the best way I can answer that right now because I don’t know about anything other than what I have right here. Until I’m told differently, that’s what I have.”
Brian Roberts didn’t experience a setback in his return from a herniated disk, so the pending trade isn’t directly linked to him. He played in three straight games and was scheduled to stay back in Sarasota today.
Trembley isn’t sure whether Roberts will start all three games on the turf at Tropicana Field, but he said it’s a “no-brainer” if Roberts continues to play as he did the last three days.
Felix Pie is expected to start the first two games in left field. Trembley will make a decision on Nolan Reimold before the series finale.
Adam Jones is expected back in the lineup tomorrow. He wasn’t supposed to play today after being scratched yesterday with flu-like symptoms.
