Ravens QB Kyle Boller, WR Derrick Mason and CB Samari Rolle will host the 4th Annual Holiday Helpers event tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Pikesville Target at 6:30 p.m. In conjunction with their nonprofit charitable foundations, the players donated a total of $15,000 and will provide 55 Baltimore-area youth with gift certificates to Target.
The players will join teammates, alumni and more than 40 Ravens cheerleaders as personal shoppers for the children. The players will join teammates, alumni and more than 40 Ravens cheerleaders as personal shoppers for the children. In addition, several Baltimore Orioles players will be on hand to serve as Holiday Helpers. A quartet of mascots – the Ravens’ Poe, the Oriole Bird, the University of Maryland’s Testudo and Target’s mascot Bullseye – will also appear.
Along with the gift certificates, each child will be treated to a light dinner, a Holiday Helpers t-shirt and an Orioles backpack filled with items donated by Target, the Ravens and the Orioles.
