Roberts remains on the 15-day disabled list after suffering the injury during the third game of the regular season at Tropicana Field. It’s classified as a hamstring injury, but it involves a ruptured tendon behind his knee.
Manager Buck Showalter said Roberts is frustrated that his knee isn’t feeling better after a month on the disabled list.
Roberts apparently has been in contact with Longoria.
Roberts still hasn’t been placed on the 60-day disabled list, and Showalter said it’s no more of a consideration now than it had been previously.
More to come.
