Gonzalez will start tonight against the Yankees, against whom he is 2-1 with a 2.75 ERA in three regular season starts. Jurrjens pitched Saturday, starting against the Rays in a no-decision.
Jurrjens, signed to a minor league contract in spring training, was 4-1 with a 3.14 ERA in eight starts with the Tides before being recalled. He has a June 15 opt-out clause, but the Orioles have been impressed with his progress and hope to keep him in the organization.
