The awards are presented in the name and spirit of the Negro Leagues legends.

Buck Showalter will receive the Charles Isham “C.I.” Taylor Award, presented to the top America League manager.

Center fielder Adam Jones will receive the John Henry “Pop” Lloyd Award, presented in recognition of baseball and community leadership.

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum will honor the winners in ceremonies scheduled for 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Gem Theater in Kansas City.
