O's Anniversary Auction ends soon

O's Anniversary Auction ends soon
Following the O's 1970 World Series 40th Anniversary game, all members of the Orioles and Nationals autographed the jerseys and hats they wore during that game, with Orioles players also signing their game-used batting helmets as well. Those items were then put up for auction on Orioles.com for O's and Nats fans to bid on and take home - but the auction ends soon, at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5. Also look for jerseys worn by the members of the 1970 World Series championship team who...

They're old and retired, but barely a few days old. You've probably seen them at the Yard and wondered if they're here to stay. They're the retired number discs dotting the upper deck in left field at Camden Yards. As part of a series of ongoing upgrades and enhancements to Oriole Park, the Orioles have fixed all six retired Orioles numbers, as well as a blue and white 42 for Jackie Robinson, to permanent perches in the seating bowl. The retired number statues peppering Edward...

But as usual, take a look at the photo below and let me know what the item is and where it's located in or around Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Don't forget...

Today in O's history

Today in O's history
On this day in 1999, Cal Ripken Jr. became the first Oriole to go 6-for-6 in a game, as the O's scored the most runs in franchise history (at that time) on their way to a 22-1 win over the Braves. Cal's six-hit game is still an Orioles single-game record, as are the five runs he scored off of his six hits in that game as well. Miguel Tejada was the last Oriole to come close with a five-hit game on July 9, 2005 versus the Boston Red Sox at OPACY. The O's topped their single-game run...
