Biggest comeback of the year

The Orioles overcame a 6-0 deficit to win 7-6 tonight vs. the Nats. They scored the winning run on Cristian Guzman's throwing error in the last of the ninth that easily could have and should have been an inning-ending double play. The O's previous best comeback win was from four runs down on May 13 vs. Seattle. Then, they trailed 5-1 after seven frames, but scored five in the 8th to win 6-5. Tonight, they were down 6-0 after four and a half innings before scoring three each in the 5th and 8th to tie. So they win on a walk-off error. The Nats middle infield tonight of Guzman and Ian Desmond combined to make four errors leading to four unearned runs. Sometimes charity begins at home, even if that home is Oriole Park at Camden Yards. If you have the chance to listen to the post-game radio show tonight, you'll hear your Masnsports.com tandem of Melewski and Roch co-hosting.
