Mid-Atlantic Sports Network earns five National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter Emmy Awards

MASN adds to collection of 44 creative, marketing and promo awards earned since 2008 BALTIMORE (June 19, 2012) - Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) today announced it was the recipient of five Emmy Awards from the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). The awards were presented Saturday evening at the 54th Emmy Awards ceremony at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. MASN, which broadcasts every available Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals game, as well as hundreds of NCAA Division I games annually, earned two awards for sports promotion, two for station/network image promotion and one for short-form writing to win five of the six Emmy awards for which it was nominated. MASN's five newest Emmys raise the total number of awards earned by the network since 2008 to 44, with 25 local and regional ADDY Awards, 17 Emmys and two American Marketing Association (Baltimore Chapter) Awards of Excellence.
