Roe, 28, made one relief appearance with the Double-A Bowie Baysox on a Major League rehab assignment, August 31 against Altoona, earning the win after surrendered one run on one hit over 1.1 innings of work. In 28 games with the Orioles this season, he is 2-2 with a 3.12 ERA (34.2IP, 12ER) and 35 strikeouts.

The Orioles today announced that they have selected the contract of right-hander Steve Johnson and recalled right-hander Oliver Drake from Triple-A Norfolk. Johnson, 28, went 4-1 with a 2.30 ERA (54.2IP, 14ER) in 32 games (three starts) with the Tides this season.
