Hurry, last chance to be selected as a Maryland Lottery "Contestant of the Game"

O's fans, time is running out to enter the Maryland Lottery's "Contestant of the Game" promotion, where you can win $500 for being selected and an additional $500 for every Orioles home run hit during that game! The deadline to enter is Monday, Aug. 23 for a chance to be selected for one of the last 30 Orioles games of the 2021 season. That's a lot of chances to be home run rich!

The Lottery has awarded over $131,000 to winners through this year's FAST PLAY Home Run Riches second-chance promotion, including $2,500 to Savarin Patel of Bel Air, thanks to the O's four home runs in their win against the Yankees on Aug. 2. All-Star Cedric Mullins, Ryan Mountcastle, Austin Hays and Ramón Urías hit home runs during that game.

The last drawing will select one "Contestant of the Game" for each of the last 30 games of the Orioles season, which will be played from September 1st to October 3rd. The O's will face their AL East rivals six times each, i.e., Yankees, Red Sox, and Blue Jays. The Royals and Rangers will each visit Oriole Park for a four-game series. And the O's will travel to Philadelphia for a three game interleague series against the Phillies.

The $5 FAST PLAY Home Run Riches game was introduced to coincide with the start of the 2021 Orioles baseball season. The ticket has a progressive jackpot that starts at $40,000 and continues to grow until someone wins, and then starts over at $40,000 again.
