The Nationals scratched two more names off their list of arbitration-eligible players this morning, agreeing to terms with left-hander Tom Gorzelanny and right-hander Jordan Zimmermann on 2012 contracts. He was removed for a pinch runner in the ninth inning. Miguel Tejada started at second base. I'm serious. It took a while, but former major league pitching coach Rick Peterson has accepted a job with the Orioles. An announcement has been anticipated for more than a month.
