A suite way to help a good cause

Imagine enjoying that Nationals vs. Red Sox exhibition game from a luxury suite at Nationals Park -- complete with delicious food, refreshing beverages and free parking. Now think of eighteen friends who might want to enjoy a baseball experience like that with you... Got it? Okay, good because... Rosie's Broadway Kids, a nonprofit organization led by Rosie O'Donnell which funds art programs for New York City children, is conducting an interesting raffle to raise money for their cause. Of course, O'Donnell is no stranger to baseball. She played third baseman Doris Murphy in A League of Their Own in 1992. Therefore, it's somewhat fitting that the winner of this raffle will receive tickets to a 19-person suite at the April 3rd Nationals vs. Red Sox game at Nationals Park, along with food, beverages and parking. Rosie's Broadway Kids began in 2003 to offer classes in dance, music and professional theater for children who might otherwise not have the opportunity. As one of the largest arts-in-education programs serving New York City public school students, the organization has reached over 9000 children. Tickets start at just $2 with a minimum purchase of five. For ten tickets, the price drops to $1.50 each and so on, down to just 75 cents each for 100 tickets. Fans can purchase raffle tickets through Celebrities for Charity. Raffle tickets can be purchased until March 19th.
