Game 59 lineups: Nats vs. Rays

The Nationals are back in town, albeit only for five games this week, beginning with a quick two-game interleague series against the Rays. Who, yes, are featuring cleanup-hitting catcher Wilson Ramos in The Buffalo's return to D.C. for the first time as a visiting player. Here's hoping he gets a nice ovation from the crowd.

Matt Adams is back in the Nationals' lineup, batting cleanup, after missing one game from a bruised right foot. For everyone who has seen those things take much longer to heal, this is good news indeed. The rest of the lineup is pretty standard against hard-throwing Tampa Bay right-hander Nathan Eovaldi.

max-scherzer-new-sidebar-white.pngMax Scherzer is on the mound, which means anything is possible. The guy was awfully fired up Saturday when he scored the winning run in the 14th inning in Atlanta, then awfully fired up Monday night when he joined Ryan Zimmerman as the "Fans of the Game" at the Stanley Cup. Who knows what Scherzer has in store for us tonight.
