Couple of quick notes from game one

Passing along a few stats coming out of the O's game one win over Texas. The Orioles were 2-for-4 in the win when batting with runners in scoring position. Their team average in that stat actually increased from .421 to .429. The O's are 18-for-42 on the year with RISP. Mark Reynolds had two hits, including a three-run homer. He now has 6 RBI over his last two games and 8 on the year. He is now batting 5-for-7 on the season, an average of .714, with runners in scoring position. He has back-to-back, two-hit, 3 RBI games. The O's improved to 17-4 in series opening games under Buck Showalter and have now won five in a row. Nick Markakis hit his first homer of the year in the first inning and has now reached base safely in all seven games. Brian Roberts, though, went hitless and failed to score a run for the first time this season. Matt Wieters went 0-for-3 and is 0-for-10 over his past three games. After starting the year 2-for-19, Adam Jones is 3-for-7 with 4 RBI the last two games. After the O's starters had pitched a combined 8 1/3 innings the previous two games, Zach Britton went 7 2/3 in his outing in game one.
