Dunn off the board; Is Konerko next?

For those of you who aren't attached to mlbtraderumors, it appears that the White Sox have reached agreement with free-agent first baseman Adam Dunn on a four-year, $56 million contract. Multiple reporters are tweeting it. Sounds like a nice deal for the White Sox. Nothing that sends up red flags or makes me wonder if there's a gas leak at U.S. Cellular Field. According to this tweet, some Chicago players believe Paul Konerko will re-sign with the White Sox. You'd have to assume that Dunn's been told he'll play some first base and also serve as the DH. Same for Konerko. They can co-exist. So much for Dunn preferring the National League. And no, I haven't been told whether the Orioles were aggressively pursuing Dunn and made him an offer. The market is playing out a lot faster than past years. The winter meetings don't start until Monday. Adam LaRoche, Carlos Pena and Derrek Lee are still on the board. So is Konerko, but maybe not much longer.
