Game 19 lineups: Nats at Mets

NEW YORK - The Nationals have taken advantage of their opportunities in the first two games of the series against the Mets, leading to 8-6 and 5-2 wins.

With a win tonight, the Nats will have earned their second series sweep of the season (Reds, March 30-April 1) and will go back above the .500 mark for the first time since April 10. More importantly, a win means their deficit back of the Mets will be down to three games.

The Nationals have made good on three RISP chances in each game, going 3-for-7 in game one, and 3-for-14 in game two.

They have also been patient enough to take a combined nine walks. The Nationals lead the major leagues in walks with 89. The Phillies are next closest with 79 free passes.

harper-point-in-gray-sidebar.jpgBryce Harper has the most with 23 walks. He has hit .455 (5-for-11) with one double, two homers, five RBIs, seven walks, one stolen base and four runs scored in his last four games.

Right-hander Tanner Roark (1-1, 3.50 ERA) has a 3-1 record with two holds and a 2.40 ERA in nine games (six starts) at Citi Field.

Left-hander Steven Matz (1-1, 3.77) had a no decision on April 7 at Nats Park in a 3-2 Mets win. He threw five innings, allowed one run (unearned) and three hits, two walks and struck out a season-high eight batters.
