Former Orioles Eddie Murray, Brady Anderson, Mike Boddicker and Ben McDonald will join the MASN broadcast booth for select games this season. They'll assist with the color commentary on a rotating basis. Anderson will provide television and radio analysis, and appear on the O's Xtra pre- and post-game shows on April 23-25 in Boston. Other dates will be announced. Each player will work nearly a dozen games. Perhaps you find it interesting that Boddicker was once traded to the Red Sox for Anderson and Curt Schilling. Or maybe you don't. "I have no doubt that Eddie, Brady, Mike and Ben will provide a lot of value to our television and radio broadcasts," president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail said in a statement. "Their stories and experiences will provide fans and viewers with a rich and historical perspective as we begin to write a new chapter of Orioles baseball." Meanwhile, Brad Bergesen allowed a single in a scoreless fifth inning. And the sprinklers behind the first and third base lines just went off between innings.
