MASN introduces daily social media show, "MASN All Access"

sara-perlman-intro.pngYou've seen our promos on MASN's broadcast of Orioles games. "Maximum Access Sports Network," another form of our acronym promoting MASN's dedication to giving fans the most access to their favorite teams.

Well, we're staying true to our word.

MASN is proud to introduce an all-new daily Facebook Live show "MASN All Access" with host Sara Perlman. The pregame show will feature sound from Orioles games, lineups, pitching matchups, interviews with your favorite players and coaches, live hits with writers and analysts, and much more.

"The show will be primarily on Facebook Live, kind of doing all-access, behind-the-scenes looks at the Orioles," said Perlman. "We're going to have really cool insider Q&As with players, reporters, analysts on fantasy baseball, whatever it may be. I think it'll be really great for the fans to get a more social aspect on regular baseball talk."

And social it will be. With the show being streamed live on Facebook, we obviously want you, the fans, to join the conversation by commenting, and even bringing it over to Twitter and Instagram.

"We really want fans to be engaged using #IBackTheBirds to give us their thoughts, opinions, tweets and pictures that we could feed off of on the show," Perlman added.

Along with the daily show, be sure to tune in throughout the season for other segments on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. We'll also have behind-the-scenes segments with Orioles staff, area tours, ballgame prep work, community events, and team initiatives, giveaways and promotions. You will also be able to catch "MASN All Access" on Instagram Live with live look-ins and interviews with MASN talent, such as Hall of Famer Jim Palmer, Rick Dempsey and Mike Bordick!

And every month, we'll be joined by an Orioles player, coach or staff member for an online chat, where fans can send in questions live, starting with our very first show on Monday, May 22, with special guest Adam Jones!

"I'm really excited for this," Perlman exclaimed. "I think 'MASN All Access' is going to be awesome, and I think anything to do with social media nowadays is so important to our everyday lives, so I'm really looking forward to bringing this kind of show to Orioles fans every day."

"MASN All Access" will air weekdays in the afternoon on the MASN Orioles Facebook page and across all social media platforms. Be sure to follow MASN Orioles on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat (masnOrioles) for "MASN All Access."

Originally from south Florida, Perlman played soccer at American University for two years before retiring from the sport, transferring and finishing her degree in Journalism and Sports Media at the University of Florida.
