MASN to debut "The Mid-Atlantic Sports Report" on March 31 at 5 p.m.

MASN, the television home of the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles, will premiere a new baseball-centric program, "The Mid-Atlantic Sports Report" on Thursday, March 31 at 5 p.m. The 90-minute show, which will air Monday through Friday, will feature a panel of four renowned baseball experts who will discuss news from the Nationals, Orioles and Major League Baseball. Panelists will include Tom Davis, Dave Johnson, Phil Wood and Mel Antonen. Davis enters his 40th year as a Baltimore-area broadcaster and previously served as the pregame and postgame host on the Orioles' flagship radio network. Johnson, an Overlea High School graduate who pitched for the Orioles from 1989-91, has served as a color analyst on MASN O's broadcasts. Wood is a veteran Washington, D.C.-area broadcaster and baseball historian who co-hosts MASN's "Nats Xtra" and will host the postgame radio call-in show on 106.7 The Fan, the team's flagship radio station. Antonen was a longtime baseball writer for USA Today who now does special assignment s for SI.com and co-hosts baseball programming on Sirius/XM Radio. "The Mid-Atlantic Sports Report" will feature content equally divided between the Nationals and Orioles, and serve as a lead-in to the "Nats Xtra" or "O's Xtra" pregame shows. The new program will include live segments with guests from Nationals Park and Camden Yards, and will feature live batting practice look-ins. Roundtable discussions will focus on important baseball developments and viewers will be able to participate in the weekday show through a variety of interactive social media platforms. MASN's on-air personalities and contributors to MASNsports.com will have a regular presence on "The Mid-Atlantic Sports Report."
