The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated left-hander Brian Matusz from the 15-day disabled list.
Matusz was placed on the disabled list retroactive to March 30 with a strained left intercostal muscle.
Matusz is scheduled to make his season debut for the Orioles today in Seattle.
In order to make room for Matusz on the 25-man roster, the Orioles designated catcher Jake Fox for assignment.
Fox batted .188 (9-48) with two home runs and four RBI in 19 games for the Orioles.
The May 17 Nationals-Pirates game at Nationals Park has been rescheduled as part of a traditional, single-admission doubleheader on Saturday, July 2, with the first game beginning at 3:35 p.m. The second game will follow at 7:05 p.m. or later, depending on when the first game is completed.

Jakubauskas, 27, has appeared in four games for the Orioles this year, posting a 7.59 ERA (10.2IP, 9ER). In five starts for Norfolk, Jakubauskas was 0-1 with a 4.05 ERA (20.0IP, 9ER).
The Orioles today announced that they have recalled CA CRAIG TATUM from Triple-A Norfolk.
Tatum, 28, batted .200 (13-65) with 7 RBI in 21 games for Norfolk. He hit .281 (32-114) in 43 games with Baltimore in 2010.
