Well, it’s been another eventful week in NatsTown. Danny Espinosa hit five home runs (two of them grand slams) and drove in 17 runs to win National League Player of the Week. Stephen Strasburg returned from the disabled list and threw 6 2/3 innings of no-hit ball. Joe Ross landed on the DL with shoulder inflammation, leaving a spot in the rotation for Lucas Giolito to remain in the big leagues for at least a while longer.
Jonathan Papelbon returned from the DL. Michael A. Taylor was demoted to Triple-A Syracuse. Bryce Harper was voted an All-Star Game starter for the third time. Daniel Murphy missed being voted a starter by 88 stinkin’ votes, but still made the team as a reserve, along with Wilson Ramos and Strasburg. Oh, and the Nationals have lost three of four to the Reds and Brewers.
You’ve probably got plenty of questions to ask about all of that and more. And I’m here to answer those questions this morning. Submit your queries in the comments section below, then check back for answers!
